Lagos Health Commissioner, Akin Abayomi, Receives ‘Painless’ Eye Surgery at LASUTH
Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi, has successfully undergone a painless eye surgery at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, the commissioner expressed his gratitude toward the expert medical team behind the procedure.
Abayomi praised the oculoplastic surgeons and health workers for their exceptional skills and the smooth operation. He wrote:
“Thrilled to share that I just had a successful eye surgery at LASUTH Ikeja. Huge thanks to the incredible oculoplastic surgeons in the Eye Department, especially Prof. Mrs. Bola Adekoya and Dr. Rosemay Ngwu, for their expertise and for making the procedure painless.”
He continued, “A special shoutout to the amazing nursing care led by Apex Nurse Adejoke Okeowo—you truly made a difference!”
