The highly anticipated Real Housewives of Lagos (RHOLagos) Season 3 premieres this Sunday, January 12, promising a blend of glamour, drama, and insight into the lives of Lagos high society. This season introduces three new cast members—Sophia Momodu, Dabota Lawson, and Adeola “Diadem” Adeyemi—following the exit of Iyabo Ojo, Toyin Lawani-Adebayo, Chioma Ikokwu, and Tania Omotayo.
Returning to the screen are Mariam Timmer Adeyemi, Laura Ikeji, and Carolyna Hutchings, who is set to deliver unfiltered drama once again after her standout performance in Season 1. The new housewives bring fresh energy, unexpected twists, and a glimpse into their lives as beauty entrepreneurs, socialites, and influencers.
Who Are the New RHOLagos Cast Members?
Sophia Momodu
A beauty and fashion entrepreneur, Sophia Momodu is no stranger to Nigerian pop culture. Known for her ties to Afrobeat star Davido and her connection to publisher Dele Momodu, Sophia has often found herself in the spotlight. However, on RHOLagos, she’s ready to showcase her authentic self.
Sophia believes her appearance on the show is destiny. She stands firmly against bullying, declaring, “I’m very anti-bullying; I don’t believe in it, I don’t subscribe to it, and I don’t entertain it.” Known for her independent streak, she revealed, “What people don’t know, they can’t ruin.”
Dabota Lawson
Dubbed “The Queen of Queens,” Dabota Lawson is a beauty entrepreneur and former Miss Nigeria UK. With a degree in Financial Economics and expertise in Professional Management Accounting, she’s built successful brands, including Lawson House of Beauty and Dabota Cosmetics.
Dabota embraces the spotlight unapologetically, saying, “For me, anything that I’ve done in front of the cameras, I can own up to it.” Her confidence and dynamic personality promise to bring fresh intrigue to RHOLagos.
Adeola “Diadem” Adeyemi
As the founder of Beauty By AD, Adeola Diadem has established herself as a leader in Nigeria’s beauty industry. With her blend of Yoruba and Igbo heritage, she celebrates inclusivity and innovation through her brand.
On joining RHOLagos, Adeola said, “I’m just going to continue to be me. Eventually, the world will adjust.” While committed to promoting her brand, she’s unafraid to confront drama, adding, “I don’t know how to be a coward or pretend; I wear my emotions on my sleeves.”
